Andrew- In the course of a lifetime, what does it matter. This means that if something you do has an effect on something that changes your life, you will remember the effect that has changed your life not the things you did.

This relates to the book because the family treated their mother like she was a slave. This mattered because when she left they will recognize her for what shes worth.

It relates to me because i take things for granted but if i were to lose my parents i would be sad that i was never thankful.

This relates to Phoebe because she is very judgmental, she tends to judge people before she gets to know them.

This quote relates to the book because what I think the lunatic is trying to say by dropping those messages is saying that Phoebe and Sal shouldn’t call him a lunatic just when they met him. This quote relates to myself because when you meet a new friend/person you should get to know them first. You shouldn’t just say that they’re stupid just when you met them so get to know your person first.
