Walk Two Moons

"Don't judge a man until you've walked two moons in his moccasins." This is a message in the book. We chose this saying because it is the main idea in the book and it started the book when Sharon Creech wrote the it.

Amina's quote,

This message has alot to do with this story because everyone is sad. pheobe is sad because her mom left, she didn't tell them, and no one knows where she is. Sal is very sad because her mom left and never came back to be there for her. Sal is also sad because when she was supposed to have a sister, she died because her mom cared her on the baby and she came early. she thinks that the reason her mom left. No one knows is Mr.Hiddle is happy orsad because in their house he is always looking at photographs of Mrs. Hiddle, but when he is around Mrs. Cadaver he is laughing and happy.

In my life time when the bird of sadness flies over me and land is when my dad goes on his busniess. I'm really sad because i don't get to see him for his trips. Know i know who Pheobe and Sal fell like.

Phoebe judges a lot o f people . She assumes Mrs.Cadaver cut up her husband up. Phoebe

judges her English teacher based on his appearance . She assumes he’s wild.

This quote relates to my life because I judged my neighbors. They always yell and disrupt us.

I assumed they were mean. After I gto to know them I realized they weren't as mean as I

thought they were.

This quote relates the book in different ways. When Sal was telling her grandparents about the 2^nd

message, her Grams was like “Isn’t that the truth! Lordy! Isn’t that what it is all about? Everybody is just

walking along concerned with his own problems, his own life, his own worries. And we’re all expecting other

people to tune into our agenda, look at my worry. Worry with me. Step into my life. Care about my

problems. Care about me.”

This message relates to my life by lots of things. I don’t really care about what other people are doing

unless it involves me. I mind my own business. So I don’t ask people what they’re doing inless I want to go

over to their house or something like that.

this quote is important to me because I LOVE DOGS. they're my favorite animal. they always cheer me up

when I am sad. also they think that you are the smartest person in the world. if you say something stupid

they give you this look that says " Oh my GOSH, you're right! I never would have thought of that> "

When sal and her grandparents reached the badlands,

Sal begins to remember her mother’s decision to leave home.

Sal who knew a little about her mother’s decvision to leave home.

This even made her more confused and she kept on thinking that her mother just abandoned her.In this passage( chapter# 23) sal’s mother used her real nname.

And sdhe desdires to be back home aginn with her roles.

And she kept thinking she was living an incomplete life.

And her name Chanhassen, carries history of her mom being a rebellion.
