Walk Two Moons

Assignment 1#

This picture reminds us of Walk Two Moons because it reminds us of the saying in the book : "Don't judge a man until you've walked two moons in his moccasins".

Also the indian on the moon reminds us of Sal, moccasins, and it is a harvest moons.

Kathryn's quotes:

"You can't keep the birds of sadness from flying over you head, but you can keep them from nesting in your hair."

I think this message relates to sal because she tries not to get the sadness of her mother get to her, but she can't help thinking of her Mother.

My favorite quote:

I like this quote because I always worry about what is the right choice or the wrong choice, but there is really only different choices with different possibilites in the end.

Maya quote:

my quoteis "Don't judge a man until youv'e walked two moons in his moccasins". This quote relaates to me because well when i was in fourth grade i went over my friends house i judged her mom without knowing what happened to her in her past. When i asked her about it she told me that she was in a very bad car accident. I felt terrible about the fact that i judged her so harshly. This relates to the charecter Sal to me when she judged her dads "friend" mrs. Cadaver.

I'm a soul survivor means to me that i am awesome and well because i am. And that i am a survivor of my own life. Thats wassup means to me that i am cool and what i said or did was hip. Oh snap is from my favorite charecter raven and that you are fresh and clean.

Philip’s quotes:

Every man has his own agenda. Which I think it means every person has heir own schedule. I also think it means that everyone really goes by their own rules in life. To me I think it means that you should not copy anyone and you should have your path in life.

Live everyday like it’s your last. –My father

I think that means that don’t waste your life being a couch potato or be a slacker all your life. Also enjoy life while you have it because it only comes around once. You never know any day could be your last day. I chose this quote because I thought it meant a lot, it made me think about life.

David’s quotes:

Don’t judge a man until you walk two moons in his moccasins. I think means like don’t judge abook by it’s cover. Also like don’t judge a person by their looks because you don’t know how they act or how they look on the inside.

I think it means if your not free you don’t know what the world’s like. I also think it means being free is better than having joy. I also think it means if your inside doing nothing and you get everything you like you don’t know right from wrong.
