Quotes, Quotes,Quotes!

Bria- My quote is

         In the course of a lifetime, what does it matter?

I think that means that you might have strong feeling about something small, but in about five years  will it really matter that much?

         For example from the book Phoebe's sister was fretting over her cheerleading try outs but in about five years will it really matter?

         My personal quote is

         Stay strong and focus on school.

I chose  this quote from a song by Carrie Underwood. (My mom it all the time too.) This quote stands forward and tells you not to drop out and you're at school to focus on learning and not on anything else

Taylor’s quotes

        “Everyone has his one agenda”

This quote has to do with book Walk Two Moons because Phoebe’s mom has her on agenda since she just left. I also think Sal has her one agenda because she is a follower not a leader. I think this quote has do with me because I have an agenda of what I am going to do every day

                                                         John, the Saturn Seeker

“Daddy, er, Captain Hugs, we’ve finally arrived on Saturn! Look pilot look at the dinosaurs!” cried out one of the crew members (named John).

          “Those aren’t dinosaurs you nitwit! Those are the aliens that live there” called the pilot over his shoulder.

          “Oh. They looked like dinosaurs.” Whispered John under his breath.

          “What is that?” called out a Saturn girl named Makar (Earth age 10)

          “It’s a rocket totally primitive” replied another named Kador (earth age 15)

          “Oh, can we go see, they just landed over the Tinsen rock.” Asked Markar.           “Fine but I have to get to a party at my friends house” answered Kador

          “Daddy, er, Capitan Hugs, can I go outside? I want to go see the aliens and go exploring.” Whined John

“Ok,  but take pilot with you.” Added the Capitan.

          “What?!” Fussed pilot

          “Yes, go with him and make sure he doesn’t get in trouble.” Ordered Capitan.

          “Ok, let’s go!” John said anxiously, as he pushed as blue button that opened the door. He grabbed pilot by the arm and were out of there without another word.

          “Come on!” Makar yelled down at her sister.

          “Ok I’m coming! Remember I haven’t scaled this hill in like, ever.” Kador called back.

          “Well hurry! I bet by the time you get up here they will already be go-ow!” yelped Makar.

          “Oh sorry.” Apologized John.

          “A-gar metso taneta?” replied the alien.

          “Wait, I’m sorry, what?” asked John. She put her long finger in the air (he noticed that on the end of her it was like soft flat pad. Like wolf paw pads but softer) she then, turned and walked near the edge of the hill.

          “Cecialimin no seeka tonata.” She cried over the edge.

          “Mesa secata.” Another voice called out of no where (it actually made John jump). That’s when he really started to look at her amazing features. She had a Triceratops billon the top of her head (no horns), three long legs (two in front one in back), and three toes on each foot (same idea two in one in back). A long skinny body with a stubby tail toward the one leg in back. Her facial features were quite unique. She had big eyes, two slits for a nose, and a wide but small mouth. She had no lips and when she opened her mouth he could see perfectly aliened teeth. Along with those teeth he saw a long blue-green tongue. Her skin tone was amazing, it was golden-tan with specks of blue in it as well.

          “Hey, do you know what she’s saying asked pilot in John’s ear.

          “No idea. Why don’t you go tell Capitan Hugs I’ve made contact with the aliens.” Answered John.

          “Ok, but be careful.” warned pilot,

          “I will,” replied John.  Pilot turned and left.  The alien turned around again to face John.  In her hand was what looked like a hearing aid.  She then came over and stuck it in his ear. 

          “Hello, can you hear me?” asked the alien.  “Yes, what did you put into my ear and what is your name?” John responded. 

          “Oh, the ear piece is called a CD (communication device), my name is Makar and this is my sister Kador.”  Suddenly, as soon as Makar began to speak, another alien grabbed and pulled herself over the rock. 

          “What’s your name? What planet are you from?  How old are you?” Makar asked without taking a breath in between her sentence. 

          “My name is John, I’m eleven years old and I am from the planet Earth.”  Makar quickly told John that she was soon to turn eleven and that her sister was almost fifteen. 

          “Son! Son! John!” shouted the captain. 

          “Yeah Dad?” replied John.  When the captain caught his breath he heard, “Let’s stay here; it’s a lot nicer than on Earth with all the global warming that is happening and other stuff.”  “There is air, trees, lakes, and rivers just like on Earth.”  “I’ve sent Pilot to go get your Mother, what do you think?” 

          “Okay.” Answered John  

          After that, John told Makar what had happened.  Makar agreed to help them live on planet Saturn. Here on earth people thought that they crashed and died so we paid our respects and kept living our lives. You know, soon there just might be a new species here in our galaxy.
