Walk Two Moons

We chose a bird house from the first chapter. This was used because Sal compared her new neighborhood by saying that it looked like a row of tiny bird houses. Soon enough we think Sal will get use to her new house.

It relates to the story because Sal judged the boy who had the knife. Then the boy ended up being nice.

I think this means you have your own life and your own thoughts. This goes along with the book because Phoebe has her crazy thoughts and Sal has her own memories throughout the story.

It means that smarts are better than beauty.

It means don't stress over things from the past and Sal misses her mom and doesn't want to let go.

This quote connects to the story because Sal wants to get what she wants. This quote means that you have to work to get what you want.
