Walk Two Moons
Assignment #1: Mini Cornell Lecture Notes-Wiki Style
We chose to put moccasins as our picture because in the book Sal and Phoebe get a mysterious note that says"Don't judge a man until you've walked two moons in his moccasins. this is an important part in the book because it's the first note they get from the mysterious note giver. It is also a important lesson they learn in the story.
Assignment #2: Quotes, Quotes, Quotes!
Halle's Quotes
Don't judge a man until you've walked two moons in his moccasins
This quote relates to the book because in the book Pheobe judges almost everyone she meets, she judges right away without even knowing them. For example she thinks Mrs. Cadaver is a murderer just because she looks different, she's strong and her last name means dead body. I can relate this message to my life because sometimes when i first meet someone I think they're weird just because maybe they dress differently.
"Not all who wander all lost"
-J.R.R. Tolkien
This quote means to me that you don't have to be positivly sure about something or how you feel. You can try different things. Also just because you do something in a different way doesn't mean you're wrong.
Gages quote: don’t judge a man in till you’ve walked to moons in their shoes. I think that the quote means don’t judge a person in till you have meet them.
“Extreme sports bring extreme pain” my dad
I think it means think about some think before you do it.
Kierra Quotes
“Everyone has there own agenda.”
I don’t think that phoebe really gets the whole point this quote.
For example: When phoebe and her sister were bugging their mom. They weren’t really caring about their mom’s agenda and were only caring about their agenda.
This really helped me realize that mom own mom has here own agenda and I shouldn’t nag as much as I do.
A Quote I choose is…
“Copying is the sincerest form of flattery”
-Unknown
I choose this because I have a little sister and she always copies me and I dislike it. This helped me realize that loves me and like me.
