Kayla “ A faithful friend is the medicine of life.” Ecclesiastics 6:16

Paula- “In a course of a lifetime what does it matter”.

I think it means if you make a mistake you don’t have to freak out about it because in five years or so you probably would forget it and any ways there is more things to life.

“All the things I really like are either immoral, illegal or fattening.”

Alexander Woollcott

The things that people like are not always the things they should.

Kayla- “You can’t keep the birds of sadness from flying over your head, but you can keep them from nesting in your hair.”

I think it means that you don’t have to act like your not sad or say you don’t care, you just can’t keep mourning about it, and let it depress you too much. I think it’s trying to be directed to Sal, to not moan or mope around felling sad cause her mom’s gone but she doesn’t act like she doesn’t care.

WALK TWO MOONS

We picked this picture because, in the story, Sal and Phoebe got a letter that said, " Don't judge a man til you've walked two moons in his moccasins." Which means don't judge anyone until you've been in their position

Jareds quote.........

"dont judge a man until you've walked to moon"

I think what that quote means is dont judge a man until you've looked at the prblem in their point of view.I think how it relates to he story is how phoebe was judging marget and she didn't even know her.
#2"if everything is going your way, you're in th wrong lane". - Will Rodgers

I realy like this quotes because I real like this quote because i think it means, everthing doesnt have to go your way there are more importat things in live.

Jack- “Everyone has his own Agenda”

I think this quote relates to Sal mostly because most of the time she thinks good thoughts and plans things to be good, most of the time.

Famous Quote-

“Be slow in choosing a friend, slower in changing” -Ben Franklin

I think it is important because you have to choose a friend that will be honest with you and you have to think a lot about changing.

 THE ROBET

                                                   By: Jared Bell
It was April 12, 2057 and everything was alive, literally.
Families were at home; kids were watching TV…but there was one family that could see through anything that seemed wrong in the world. They were the Johnson family.
They started the day as any other family, older sister Sapana doing her make-up and little brother brushing his teeth.
As the family sat down with To-Do (there dog) in the little boys lap they watched the early morning news on their hologram TV.
The parent hopped up to get breakfast ready when a commercial came on. It was about a robot named Sunny except there were millions of them and one unparticular  was moving.
The parent thought this was a bad idea and called the president. The president just laughed then hung up.
As their father opened the door and he saw many people lined up for something. He asked someone why the guy was lined up?
They said,” to get the sunny”.
“Ohhh” he said and walked back inside.
As the father walked inside and was explaining it to the Mrs. Johnson Sam (the son) took his dads wallet and went and talked to a little boy hold his mothers hand.
After a while the people let Sam cut them. He hopped in front of them and was next up. He said, “one please” to the large man standing before him. The large man lifted one giant robot down and the robot said hello I’m the original sunny and I’m here to help you.
The little boy took his hand and walked back to their house. The mother and father were sitting on the porch the dad murmuring something like oh my gosh, where’s my wallet, and the mother was freaking out about how Sam was gone.
As Sam walked up with the robot his mother and father freaked out because they didn’t like robots.
They demanded that he take the robot back to where it belonged.
The robot responded” I assure you this is where I belong”
Mr. Johnson walked toward the robot and opened its back piece of metal. There was a tiny book inside his back. He flipped through a couple pages until there was a title that read VOCABULARY in big bold letters.
He read through it a couple times and there was not a sentence in that book that he just said then he remember the commercial.
He asked the robot if he was one of the first robots to be made?
The robot responded, “I don’t know”
“Ok” said the dad still very curies.
He opened the front of the robet and observed the technology inside of him.
The father decided to keep him because but still didn’t trust the others. Then one day there was a large thump on the ground and everything started shaking. Everybody rushed outside to see what was happening.
“THE ROBETS ARE TAKING OVER” one guy screamed.
Then the father rushed inside and grabbed something green. Then he came back out and shot a lightning bolt looking thing at the giant robets. It fell but then got up again. The father ran to the back of the robet and shot the switch.
The switch blew up but the robet stayed up.
“So much for that idea,” the father said and ran back to the front of the giant robet.
“We got to shut it down from the inside,” he thought.
Then he shot a lightening bolt at the grown and it launched him straight towards the robet. Then as he was inside he pulled two wires and the robet went crazy and destroyed two buildings then the father saw Sunny jump through the robet and pull one giant wire and the robet stopped moving and fell.
As Sunny and the father stepped out of the robet all the news reporters jumped up and started asking the questions but the father and Sunny just walked through the crowed to see the fathers family and Sunnies new one.

Ring! Ring!"    3:00 dismissal bell. Savannah and I were walking in the hall. And then we felt the ground to shake. Everyone started to run

outside because a kid said there's something coming from the sky. I

followed Savannah outside to the school front yard. In the sky we saw

a disk coming down to the ground. All the kids stared in disbelief and

amazement. The door opened, and then 2 non- earthlings stepped out.

They were at least 7ft tall, one had blue skin and the other had pink

skin. They had 5 ears, 3 eyes, 1 leg and they obviously walked with a

hobble, and they were kind of scary to look at. Then the one with the

pink skin said, "Would Savannah Ray and Sophia May come forward.

I hesitated for a second but then Savannah pushed me forward. Savannah spoke up, “That’s us.”

“We’ve been watching you two, and so far you’ve been the most interesting, so come forward and receive our gift of gratitude.”

“Interesting?” I said.

“Gift?”

“Yes. So if you please, step forward!”

Savannah and I stepped forward. Then from the sky came another disk but a lot bigger. Savannah and I looked at each other, in confusion. Behind us the whole 5th 6th 7th and 8th grade stood on the lawn. Then the door to the second ship opened and out jumped Jichael Mackson, who was supposedly the hippest, coolest musician from their musician from their planet. Out he came singing and dancing. And everyone in the schoolyard started dancing and singing along with the music.

No one really knows the real reason of why they came to earth. But we do know that they have a great taste in music.
