I think this quote is related to the book because this is something sal really need to follow,

she always something to say about the person when she first meets them. I used to all ways do that. Everyone can learn from this quote

 

Josh – “You can’t keep the birds of sadness from flying over your head, but you can keep them from nesting in your hair.”  In Walk Two Moons, Phoebe is sad about her mom leaving, and she lets it effect her life.  I let things get to me just like Phoebe.

When Sal’s mom left her, Sal was worried about her mom not coming back. It doesn’t matter to Sal’s mom because she is going to live her life. But to Sal it does matter because her mom is not coming back. This relates to me because if someone leaves me and goes to another state I would worry about them, but they probably wouldn’t worry about me.

 Caroline-"Everyone has their own agenda"Sal has her own agenda when she is driving to Idaho with her grandparents. This relates to me because I or someone else could be talking or thinking about something that dosen't matter as much to someone else.

My quote is "Total abscence of humor renders life impossible"-Colette. I like this quote because it's true that life would be impossible without anything funny.

 sydnee's sci-fi story

“Okay class it’s time to go to the library”. Said the robot teacher. Hayley was excited because it was a new seventeen magazine. As she went straight to the rack, she noticed something different about this months issue. Titled year 240 she thought it was a joke, but then she noticed that there was all these robot fashion models. Could it really be from the future Hayley thought to herself. Hayley looked behind her everyone was gone excepted for Ancia “ where did all of them go” said Ancia “ don’t look at me I don’t know either” exclaimed Hayley. All of a sudden a little box showed but in the middle of the table they were sitting at. “ What could this be” Ancia said as fast as she could “ I don’t know but it looks like this thing on the front cover of seventeen” the girls opened the magazine “LOOK” Hayley shouted “it is a time machine” she said even loader  “ are you serious, no way” said Ancia in a not so sweet voice. Hayley and Ancia both just sat and through about all the thing they could do with it , and right in the middle of there thinking a little green alien form the box. “ Hello one of earth my name is e*ah*o I am from the former plant Pluto. My sister o*eee*ah said on our vacation here she had left her seventeen magazine here and she would like back. Have you seen it any where.” The girls mouths dropped with amazement Hayley wonder if she should say anything she wonder if  what she was seeing was even true but before Hayley could say anything Ancia quickly answered “right here…..the magazine is right here” the shot alien took the book from Ancia’s hands and said good day to both of the girls and jumped right back into the box. Along with the alien the box disappeared. The girls looked at each other to see as if it was real or just a dream. When they realized that what they had saw was real the swore they would never tell another living sole. This would be a day they would remember for the rest of there lives.
