Walk Two Moons-

Assignment 1

 

This picture relates to the story Walk Two Moons, because in the story grams, gramps, and Salamanca Tree Hiddle, the main characters, are going to an indian resort in Minnesota. While they were on thier trip, they had seen a sign for the resort, and eventually they had reached the area. Thier were many indians all around the area, and Gramps decided to go ask an indian if he could smoke some of his peace pipe. after gramps, came sal, and grams. All in all, the reason that this picture relates to the story is because gramps, sal, and grams had all smoked a peace pipe.

 

 

         Assignment 2

 

     Quotes, quotes, quotes- 

 

             "Don't judge a man until you have walked two moons in his moccasins" was in the story Walk two Moons, and it related to the character phoebe, because she would always judge a man to be a lunatic if he or she was a stranger, and assume the situation. This quote could relate to me because I have once judged a kid at school to be wierd, and not fun to be around, until i had been over to his house and seen what he really was like and became his friend.

 

              Alexis"you can't stop the birds of sadness from flying over your head, but you can keep them from nesting in your hair"

         I think it relates to the book because Sal and pheope's moms left, they can't help that they left or why, but they don't have to linger on it. even though they do. It relates to me because when my brother broke my ancle on purpose I could still be mad at him and I'm not.

 

        "Victory is mine" this quote is by stewie griffin in the show family guy and I could relate to this because occasionaly i will say this quote if i score a g

Sometimes I think why do we do all these things to satisfy us if we are all going to die sometime in our life.

Famous Quote :”My deepest fear is that I am not inadequate. My deepest fear is that I am powerful beyond measure…”—Akeelah and the Bee. I like this quote because we are all more powerful than we think, we just don’t know it.

 

 

 

Meredith: Everyone has their own agenda.

 

I think that this quote means that every has there own life and dose there own thing. I have my own agenda. For example I take care of my younger brother and I do my homework. Every body has there own agenda.
